Description
Here is a confession, for the first year or so of shooting weddings professionally, this used to a pain point for us: How to take great portraits of couples on their wedding day. The things battled the most against us: the shortage of time, the lighting, and posing. It took us a lot of hard work to come up with shortcodes for taking great-looking portraits quickly while nailing the light, composition, and poses. Now, with quick fixes and lighting recipes, we can do them on the fly, be it the solo portraits of a bride or them as a couple.
Do you battle with these questions:
- How do I quickly read the light in a scene and think ideas for couple portraits?
- My portraits have begun to look alike, how can I make them unique for couples?
- How can I take great portraits irrespective of the beauty of the location and available light?
- My portraits are technically correct but they lack some secret sauce, how do I make that?
- How to take portraits in natural light?
- How do I create my own light for a quick portraits session?
We have the answers and we want to share them with you. Through the last 10 years of being successful wedding photographers and having spent countless hours shooting and editing portraits, we learned so many things by studying our own mistakes. We experimented a lot to come up with techniques and methodology to make quick recipes for poses and lighting.
We believe you can gain a lot by understanding it from us than spending time figuring it out yourself. This is not a course where we teach you how to make them pose and expect you to copy them, that’s a style you will develop on your own. This course will make you understand the nuances of posing, best practices, details you need to pay attention to.
After this training you will be able to:
