Why do I need Candid Photography in my Intimate Wedding Package?

With intimate weddings, the whole experience is about you and your story. A small guest list gives you the opportunity to truly enjoy those little moments that make your big day. Candid photography is the perfect complement to intimate weddings as it focuses on the story and the moments you experience. It captures the emotions of your loved ones as they experience this milestone with you. This style of photography is also non-obtrusive which means no one will interrupt you to pose for the camera or come in the way of you living in the moment. How many Candid Photographers do I need for an Intimate Wedding?

Our recommendation for your intimate wedding packages would be to have a team size of at least 1 candid photographer for smaller events and 2 candid photographers for the wedding day. If you’re having concurrent events on both the bride and groom’s side, you may need additional candid coverage.

Much like candid photography, it focuses more on capturing the fun, emotions and the moments between moments. How many cinematographers do I need for covering my intimate wedding?

For a truly cinematic feel, we recommend having at least 2 cinematographers to capture different angles of the same moment – so the final wedding teaser and video has the powerful feel of a cinematic movie. However, if due to crowd size restriction you would want to reduce the team size, one cinematographer will also be able to capture the story. A cinematographer is almost always accompanied by an assistant due to the gear weight and flexibility needed on field. So do keep that in mind too when planning the team size. For the wedding day, we recommend 2 cinematographers at the least.
